The Winona Catholic Worker Community thanks everyone who helped make the Barn Dance fund raiser on October 22, 2011, a success. It was great to see people waltzing, square dancing and international dancing while supporting the Bethany and Dan Corcoran houses of hospitality. We rely on your generosity to keep running, and last weekend showed us how deeply generous Winona folks can be.
Enough money was raised to pay for direly needed appliances and household repairs. Thanks to everyone for their continued support and generosity.
If anyone would like to get further involved, feel free to call them at (507) 454-8094 or stop by for dinner Monday-Friday at Bethany House, 832 W. Broadway. They’re open from 4 to 7 and dinner is served at 6.
